Ideally for the site it is best to use image hosts rather than the attachments.
If its a small pic the attachments is grand, small, handy and hassle free.
however large photos are best using an offsite host like imagebam, like I did for my klingon cardassian site for example, copy the BB code and paste it here.
The third option which is the best if the pic is already somewhere else on the net is to hotlink it, go to the pic wherever it is hosted, right click go to "view image info" and copy the
code next to "location" abd then come here and click the Img button is the panel above and paste the code between it.
Uploading photo's
Re: Uploading photo's
go to a site...I prefer "Imagebam".
Pick the size thumbnail, usually 250 x 250, select if its family or adult, then select files from where ever you have them stored and then click upload.
When it finishes you will be given 3 boxes of code...one is a direct link...just like an url
The other is a BB Code, that is what you copy to get the thumbnail version of pics on a forum.
The third is html which is only for sites like websites geared for that

Re: Uploading photo's
By now, we have a lot of free space on the server, so I increased the attached file size limit to 500kb.
I hope it helps.
