Star Trek Beyond – the Baddie Krall

I am really curious about the baddie in ST Beyond. I know it is NU Trek, a summer action and fucked up by default but I wonder whether Idris Elba can make up for the triviality, to what extent he will be able to convey some message under the tons of prosthetics. I also wonder whether his alien character will have a justifiable reason to hate the Feds.

Here is another clarification of Krall’s motivation. The Federation abandoned once his species leaving them at the mercy of their attackers. So Krall looked pretty human-like then and later was transformed into the alien we see. I am quite disappointed, I want a full-bloodied alien not an adapted human being sulking for not being able to preserve his humanity.
