Well, they struck me as a rather loose interpretation of the traditional Cardassian designs. The first picture shows two Keldons in aft view but the ship in the foreground does not look very Cardassian although it was meant to be part of the same group.

The second picture shows a type of fighter distantly related to the Hideki class, but still the original Hideki has an oval forehead and a crab-like aft section so this is quite an atypical design. It is also much more compact than the original Hideki.

As long as they serve Cardassia, I don’t mind. Our military complex comes up with new designs every day.

The big one in the first picture is a Hutet-class.

It lacks the grace and style of my favorite class: the good old Galor
(I have build a model of a Galor lately and I can't stop looking at it - it's so beautiful - not my work, but the design)

Yes, it makes sense, its aft view and bulky shape remind me of Lockheed C-130 Hercules. Multi-purpose military transporter. It is not built for speed but for power and cargo capacity. Still, it is well armed and it can produce a respectable firewall but I guess it needs an escort of lighter vessels to compensate for its restricted maneuverability. I like the self-repair system based on Dominion technology.

You can place a photo of your Galor.

Hello!
A picture of my model. The quality of the photograph is bad. The painting on the model is at best sloppy. But I learn from my mistakes. And I will do better next time. ;)

The small one on the left is a toy from the 90ies. I found it sweet. There are tiny figures of Dukat and Odo inside.

Think you are being hard on yourself, paintwork aint that bad.

a nice darkish varnish on that would look great, and t little stand for it.

The Galor looks great, all details are where they have to be. It is fully operational, that is important. You can always repaint it.

I have seen these toys – a Cardassian ship with Dukat or Garak inside – they were part of the merchandise sold when the show was first aired but now they can be ordered from ebay and similar sites only I guess.

Thank you! I'm relieved. I really like the model. The design is so beautiful. But I was afraid to ruin it completely with my clumsy fingers.
And it's hard to get a new one. Next time I'll try to assemble a Keldon. The molds are ready.

I tried to do this "camouflage" thing with a darker shade of brown. But the effects were to unpredictable. In other words: a complete failure. So I removed the paint and did it all over again. By removing the paint I also removed parts of the model accidentally because the paint remover was too aggressive. We lost structural integrity and the tail fin
I suppressed the onset of panic and remembered the words of a wise man ... you know, there is no dilemma that cannot be solved ..... and so on
In the end I saved what could be saved and the result can be seen on the photograph.
It is docked on a pylon. You couldn't see the pylon from the perspective the first picture was taken. So I will link a second one. I hope no one dares to enlarge it. :) The strange thing in the background is not a fishtank. It is an internment camp for unruly creatures - my poor brainwashed fishies.

(I start to believe my kids are right when they say: Our mother is a nerd .... )
