this is the model ( courtesy of the old Drex Files site) used in the show.
Very similar style to the terek/empok Nor design too.Always liked this and used in in an old wallpaper

It's impressive.
There is something about the Cardassian design that always reminds me of sea-creatures.
Beautiful!

There never was a war that was not inward, never a heart conquered from without. What is our innocence, where is our guilt? Where is the courage for the unanswered question that in misfortune, even in death, can defeat our mortality?

oddly I dont like that pic that much, not a fan of the computer generated pics that look very mock.
I prefer the type of pic that looks like a screenshot.
As for the cardassia n designs in trek, I dont know if they are all the creations of one man or a team or group but they always look great, more subtle and artistic that the robust and in your face and repetitive klingon style for example.

I downloaded Ds9 including all the hidden files
Region 2 had the most hidden files if I remember right, but i downloaded every one made regardless of region.
A couple of them are john Eaves sketchbooks, must check them out again and see what I can find out about who designed what.

Re: Repair Station
Speaking of Cardassian repair facilities, I am posting this one because it mentions the dimensions and offers several angles. It allows for zooming in so you can view the details.

Re: Repair Station
I have often watched this photomanip of yours and I like the way the station looks rough and haggard as an object that has been exposed to space phenomena for some time. It has the same brownish-yellowish hue as the metal alloy that Cardassian ships are made of.

yeah, tried to get the ships and station all the same color.texture to make it more realistic, spent more time on that alone than everything else
